From the 3D... to the 2D? ~ Animation Communities that Helped Me Grow! (animation groups discussion)
Howard Wimhurst & Jean-Denis Haas are only two of many great animation advocates, coaches and animators themselves in the community at large. Watch this video to get more of my thoughts as to how they had helped me develop my skills and experience as an animator myself in stopmotion/claymation animation, what their animation contests were like (100 Frames contest & Annual Short Film contest respectively) and what i think of their extended course and merch materials and overall thoughts.

P.S. The only contests i ever actually participated in was one of each type of the 100 frames one, the first being in december 2019 and the last one being in may 2021. i have yet to participate in the monthly or even annual (if they still have them someday soon, thank you though Keystone Clips!) contests for animator guild, so i hope 100 frames is still ongoing even though october has passed and the next december is just around the corner!
Also, I'm still procrastinating on my other video claymations, but maybe ill make a stream soon to make it easier to start sculpting and filming again. The Paka and Ron props and claymations were a nice breath of fresh air for sure this Q4 2021, but i just need to make sure im gonna pull through with making those follow up claymations for end 2021 and early 2022 is all.
Beyond that, i hope you all have a good day and stay safe in the pandemic! :D
