From Thrills to Chills: MWII Season 6 Map Review Uncovers Scary Activision Security Issues
0Season 6 of MWII has dropped and I.... I have thoughts.
Firstly, please explain why an "update" is the same size (or bigger) than the base game
Secondly, I am all in favour of two factor authentication (love me some 2FA) but I can see that Activision is pushing me towards their bespoke security solution (the battle.net app) and not an industry standard one and it's not right that I don't have a choice.
Finally, don't make me use a service that I HAVE to sign up to in order to avoid cheating when your own mechanism won't let you log in because.... Well I have NO IDEA have you not paid a bill so that means I can't get an SMS/Text?
Give me the means to get a code that doesn't rely on you being able to send bills in a timely manner or me being awake at the time I get them.
Anyway - ahem!
There's issues with 2FA, Issues with the battle.net authenticator app, issues with Blizzard/Battle.net/Activision infrastructure, SMS authentication email support and so much MORE
