This is another memorable custom scenario, I must say.

4-Step is best summed up as a baseless scenario for the first phase then it becomes the standard base and army building scenario for the second phase.

For the first phase, you start off with some Knights, Footmen, Archers and a Ballista. The Ballista is important here since it will be useful for clearing some of the towers and maybe a troll or two in the prison area at the center of this map (since this area has Peasants and more Knights). Archers can be used here to kill the melee enemies that will hug the walls - just don't break the walls yet until you think it is safe.

Your first base camp is to the west, a rescuable blue outpost with a small gold mine to the north of the said outpost, it has a thin line of trees to be chopped down first though. Take out any of the green orcs that gets in the way, including that one grunt that's tucked away in the said gold mine. Also rescue the Demolition Squad that's also near that gold mine - you will need it in just a bit. Make sure to park the Ballista in the thicker treelines northeast of your initial base so that it can start firing its bolts at the Twilight Hammer's peons (Purple team, by the way) that try to chop trees or at their attack units.

Before you use the Demolition Squad that you've rescued. You'd want to kill the grunt that's near the tower south of your initial base either by upgrading said tower into a guard tower or with archers. Reason for this is because you'll gain control of the two Demolition Squads that are next to the said grunt if you either chop through the trees or gain control of the orange team's base. You'll need them later for the final assault against the Twilight Hammer clan's base.

Back to the Demolition Squad that was rescued earlier - bring it near the blue scout tower that's in the east. There's a part in the rocks where you can create a path to get to the other side. Once you've demolished and created a path in the rocks, send in at least a knight and look for the Castle. You'll gain control all of the orange team's units. Start mining out the gold and build up your economy since the gold mine here is way larger than your first base's gold mine.

Because of obtaining a castle - getting a Mage Tower, Stables, Blacksmith and a Church built are going to be top priority. You'd want to have Mages with Blizzard, some ballista upgrades and Paladins with weapon and armor upgrades. Train up paladins, mages and maybe like two or three more Ballistae. Park the ballistae by the initial base's northeast treeline to keep on racking up kills (the idea here is to make purple keep on wasting resources).

Once you believe it's time to finish off the Twilight Hammer clan's base. Use the two demolition squads and breach through the treeline that leads into their base. Make your mages cast Blizzard to do a lot of damage to their structures and kill a lot of their units. Send in your Paladins to do clean up work.

If the map doesn't end in a victory, there might be some remaining green orcs in the map. Eliminate them, they're all easy pickings since they don't have a base and are all Level 1 units.
