Frozen 2 All Is Found Shot Progression #Shorts
0After finishing on “Into the Unknown” I went onto the next movie, Raya for a few months then I got to come back to Frozen 2 when they needed extra help at the end.
I was so happy I got do a little more animation on the film! I got to do a really sweet shot of Elsa and her mom. While I was blocking it out initially I started thinking about my sister and my niece. My niece would touch my sisters face in this sweet little way where she’d gently place her hands on my sister’s cheeks and look her straight in the eyes, face to face.
It was so sweet and so I tried emulate it by having Elsa touch her mom’s face. Thankfully Jennifer Lee really liked it and it made it in! This was one of the hardest shots to polish I’ve ever done. Lots a slow moves with a bunch of contact, phew!!
Swipe for my first pass blocking, then the scene on 2s(new image every other frame) and finally the finished polished animation.
