FSR 3 Frame Gen Mod on RTX 3060 | Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, The Last of Us Part 1
RTX 3060 has an impressive performance at 1440p + FSR 3 FG!
00:00 Cyberpunk 2077, 1080p Ultra
02:18 Cyberpunk 2077, 1080p Ultra + FG
04:46 Cyberpunk 2077, 1080p Ultra RT + FG
06:34 Cyberpunk 2077, 1440p Ultra + FG (Medium SSR)
09:05 Alan Wake 2, 1080p Medium
10:52 Alan Wake 2, 1080p High + FG
12:44 Alan Wake 2, 1080p Medium RT + FG
14:51 Alan Wake 2, 1440p High + FG
16:37 The Last of Us Part 1, 1080p Medium
18:55 The Last of Us Part 1, 1080p Ultra + FG
20:37 The Last of Us Part 1, 1440p High + FG
Here are some recommendations about the settings of each game:
On Cyberpunk, the best settings by far are 1440p Ultra + FG (using DLSS Quality or Balanced, both will look quite similar to 1440p Native). Still, if you are going to play at 1080p, I recommend Ultra + FG without the Ray Tracing, the game runs decently with RT but it feels a lot less smooth compared with the game without RT. On Alan Wake 2, the best setting once again is 1440p Ultra + FG, you can use DLSS Balanced here and the game will look quite similar to Native with excellent performance. If you are going to play at 1080p, you can try the Path Tracing + Medium, it runs decently enough but I would play without the Path Tracing, the experience is way smoother. On The Last of Us Part 1, the mod still has some HUD issues, 1440p High is the way to go. For all these titles, even if you don't have a 1440p monitor, I recommend turning the DSR Factors ON to simulate the 1440p Resolution, that way the game won't have that blurry look from DLSS at 1080p resolution since DLSS works A LOT better on 1440p and 4K.
I'm using the Nukem 0.90 Mod version on Cyberpunk and Alan Wake and LukeFZ 0.7.5 Mod version on The Last of Us Part 1.
