A cool camera perspective for watching a cockpit approach, the HGS or Heads Up Guidance System allows pilots to keep their eyes outside the aircraft, and still have the ability to monitor their instruments. This approach into Phoenix I flew the other day shows how helpful the HGS actually is, and gives you a clear picture of what information it displays. This is just another reason why the 737 is an amazing aircraft, and one of my personal favorites.
