Well, that happened. I suppose I kinda did call it. Not sure exactly what mistakes led me to that point either. I feel like I just ran into a weirdly high number of ships with missiles, which can be a bit tough. Could be normal though?

Maybe I should've focused more on upgrading engines to get more evade? Alternatively, perhaps I needed to try to get weapons up to level 7 and should've kept the hull laser. An 8 shot volley would go a long way to disabling enemy weapons. Either of those lines of thought would suggest that upgrading shields to 3 early was the main mistake.
