We tried this "As Intended" setup a week or so ago and didn't get the win, so we're giving it another go. Engi A starts with an Ion Blast Mk II and a combat drone, so our challenge is to use only Ion weapons and Combat drones to do hull damage. We've done similar challenges in the past, and I always love stacking Ions since they're pretty effective at shutting down enemy offense. We get an early Drone Recovery arm and Defense scrambler, which make this run possible. And we even get a sector 8 Combat Drone Mk 2, which allows for full 8 power drone control!
