Fujiyama Buster (Arcade) Unedited Playthrough - Playing With Shit Series
Around 1 hour 4 minutes to beat as shown. I left this run unedited since this game allows you to defeat enemies by losing matches as that character. I exploited that for this shitty game. The original Street Fighter 2 also allowed this. Since this game is shitty I thought it would be worthwhile to post up how I beat these fighting games. I never really show the process on how I play them since I edit out lost matches. You will see I use save and load states only to reset matches back to the beginning to cut down on all the menus. I will even reset mid fight to save time and get a good first round. I consider this legit as its mainly a time saving method. On consoles I will use the fast forward feature to skip menus faster, but arcade MAME may not have that feature. I never looked. Even the hardest fighting games usually come down to finding a few cheap moves with a very specific character that the AI struggles to deal with. So you will see me try many combinations and fighters to find what breaks through. I go through 100s of fighting games to bulk out the kill list, as they are usually faster kills, and its usually not special moves that allow me to win, especially against cheap end bosses. This game is also known as Shogun Warrior in the US, so there is a good chance I will accidentally beat that version years down the road when hunting victims. Cant often remember what I beat, but I do check the list on my tablet. I try to avoid beating identical region versions of games I beat , since its a cheap way to bulk out the list, but it does happen. I like it when the japanese version, for example, is different in some way , maybe easier or harder than the US version, but the identical entries are cheap to count as extra games. I try to minimise that. I will go through ports of a game on each system though.
If anyone is getting into making a Games Beaten List for themselves I reccomend making a text document with a list of rules you allow for legitimate entries on the list. I have a rules list I made since I enjoy beating games legit by my own standard. The list also goes into detail with how I categorise and list games. A good example is the distinction I make between Console Style Arcade Games and Coin Waster Arcade games. The console style section is for arcade games with penalties for death and Coin waster section is for the pay to win games with no consequences. If I beat a coin waster game on 4 credits (3 continues) I move it over to the console style listing. I use an excel spreadsheet as it allows me to add details to each entry. I may go into this in another video down the line. Its just something I enjoy doing. Currently I am closing in on 2000 console and console style arcade games beaten and a little over 100 of the coin waster style arcade games (Dont play those alot). For this year Im aiming for 400 plus games beaten and should hit it. I set monthly minimums and it pushes me to keep a certain pace. I have a little over 800 playthroughs on the channel that were completed in the last maybe 4 or 5 years since I got capture capabilities.
Stay tuned !!
