--------------------------------------------------
Hey ya'll, welcome to my playthrough of Rayman Advance for the Gameboy Advance, which is played on the Gameboy Player for the Nintendo Gamecube! :)
This is the Tenth Anniversary Edition which contains 2 games, Rayman Advance and Rayman 3 (which apparently is a little alternative sequel as Razorbeard is in it).
This took me a little while to play through although I could've done it faster if I had just continued from any deaths I had gotten throughout the playthrough. For most of the game, until a level in Picture City, I have replayed the levels and have gotten through them without dying which I was trying to do to save time in the video and not have a long playthrough with many deaths. However, a level in Picture City had one cage in it that is basically a death trap and I couldn't save Rayman no matter how many times I retried the stage. I had to go through the level again and again, as the cage is in the final stage of the level and I had to play through 2 stages first every time, so it was definitely a little time consuming. So I took the death and continued from there.
There are a lot of cages that appear in different locations in the levels and that's also another reason why you can't really get through the game so quickly if you had memorized the locations from the PS1 version cause a lot of them are in other locations. Some are in the same places but there's always one or two cages (except for Anguish Lagoon) that are hidden quite well but still relatively easy to find if you're observant enough.
I went to Bongo Hills first instead of going to Swamps of Forgetfulness because I wanted to get the helicopter powerup, so that way I can get the final cage in the Swamps of Forgetfulness level as there's a cage that moved to a new area and you need the helicopter to fly to a spot where the 5th cage would be.
This was recorded using the Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, with the AV cords going into an AV to HDMI converter which was then plugged into my capture card (AVerMedia Live Gamer 4K) to capture the gameplay in OBS as I used OBS to make the game appear and record in full screen without any black border around it.
