Salutations, and welcome to another installment of the Full Analysis of the Halo Beta series. For this installment, we'll be looking at a Halo Combat Evolved build that recently got leaked. This is Halo CE build 1749, a build dating back to approximately August 15th, 2001, exactly three months away from Halo 1's release date, November 15h, 2001. Taking these dates
into account, it's surprising how early in development this build feels in terms of visuals and gameplay design choices, which I'll cover extensively throughout this video. Up until this installment of the Halo Beta Analysis series, the builds I've covered only offered small fractions of the game's content, usually consisting of a handful of multiplayer levels. This is not the case for 1749. It contains the entire campaign as well as the multiplayer content, including all of the maps and gametypes that come with them. I've got a lot of work ahead of me to cover the major differences between this build and the final game, and just so we're clear, I'll be using the original xbox version of the final build of Halo 1 as the main counterpart to this
newly-released beta, unless there's something I have to reference in the Gearbox PC port, which there are a couple things here and there.

This part will cover the Campaign and Multiplayer modes for the 1749 build of Halo: Combat Evolved!
