There are self-transcendence in this. The server has no map icon but for own aircraft. To cite two examples, near the start, I transcended an air combat, you can see a friendly scoring one aerial kill for a score of 100 soon (bottom F/A-18C in the pulled player list). Another example is in Min 54. I transcended a friendly player "Pilot" was being engaged by a determined enemy. You can see the corroboration in the datalink soon (Min 56). A friendly aircraft is being chased by an enemy aircraft. However, Pilot had no stat that tells he has been downed. Could be a glitch since an enemy did down a player. Therefore, these seem like conjectures.
