Alien: Isolation, for the five people who don't know this, is set in the Alien(s) universe. Where there is an...alien...that wants to kill everything, oh and it's blood is acidic to top it off.
Alien: Isolation follows Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley's daughter, as she goes on a mission to Sevastopol station to find the mission recorder from the Nostromo (her mothers ship). Also as a side note, as far as I can tell everything in the game (even the visuals) are true to the first movie, maybe the second one as well. I haven't seen them in a long time.
When Amanda Ripley gets to Sevastopol Station there is an explosion which separates her from the ship that brought her there, the Torrens. After which the survival horror/exploration elements truly set in. You are to search Sevastopol for weapons and means of distraction as well as avoid (mostly) other humans...oh yea, there's an alien on board as well that you probably should sneak away from.
Full Frames is the name I decided on for when I complete a game from beginning to end. During a Full Frames playthrough I'll simply go from the beginning of the story to the end, no guarantees on multiple endings. Totally depends on how much I'm enjoying the game.
