Full interview: Expert speaks on report outlining autopilot crashes | KVUE
KVUE’s Conner Board speaks with Fred Lambert, the editor in chief at Electrek, about the newly released report by the National Highways Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) on crashes involving cars with partially automated driver-assist systems, also known as autopilot features. The report showed Tesla had more than 270 crashes over a one year period, which was the most of any car maker. But, the report did not take into account the number of cars on the road or mileage.
