[FUN] Fights for Anvil Rock (Guild Wars 2 BETA) 4chan /v/ Guild
20This game was way more fun in beta....
A highly coordinated and well-organized elite PVP server beaten by a ragtag group of /v/irgins led by a GURL GAMER and a furry BR with 140 ping.
Dozens of anons and tripfags alike from the 4chan boards /v/ and /vg/ including myself hopped on the No Fun Allowed [FUN] Steam group and Mumble chat room last weekend for the April 27th Guild Wars 2 BWE. Like many others, most of my time in-game was spent fighting for our home server- which for this beta was Anvil Rock, in World vs World (WvWvW). It's probably the most fun I've had in any MMORPG's PVP mode.
As for the overall product, the game feels very close to finish judging by what they allowed us to play. A few glitches, some server issues, and lack of optimization were my only major complaints. I'm hoping for another closed beta in mid May, an open beta early June, and then the game's release by late June or early July. Don't quote me on that though; Guild Wars 2 will be out "when it's ready."
