Just recently Funimation ended its partnership with Crunchyroll. It was a insane move since both companies are icons in the Anime Community. Many speculated it had something to do with Funimation being owned by Sony & Crunchyroll being owned by AT&T. Now almost two months later Funimation announces a Partnership with Hulu that oddly enough is mostly owned by Disney after they obtained Fox. Its no secret that Sony & Disney have a good relationship as companies. Maybe Disney is lining up Anime for its Streaming Service coming soon.
