Future Of My Channel - FTC, COPPA & YouTube Situation!
4Hello everyone.
I know it has been a long time since I have uploaded a video but I have a very good reason why and it's because I have been doing a lot of thinking and research regarding the new rules that YouTube will be putting on the website when it comes to FTC & COPPA.
I understand that my content is not aimed for kids but I am worried that the AI that YouTube will use in 2020 to detect if videos are made for kids or not has me worried because if my videos are automatically aimed for kids without my consent, then nobody will be able to comment and I won't be able to save videos to playlists.
I have links to all the sources I talked about in this video and at the moment my mind is set on transferring over to streaming on Twitch and uploading the archives on Facebook and Twitter as stream highlights.
The reason for this is because I mainly upload videos on YouTube as a hobby and not for money. I feel I will not be having fun with this uncertainty and unpredictability going on right now despite some reassurances.
