Remember this classic "fight yard" map? If you've played classic Counter-Strike for any long stretch of time you've likely played it before, or one of its many spin-off maps.
I decided to pay tribute to the many hours I've wasted playing in this map by remaking it in Doom (GZDoom, to be precise). The result is an almost 1:1 recreation of the original, using the original textures ripped from the BSP file.
Using the tiles on the textures as a reference meant I could recreate the map as faithfully as possible, and I'm really quite happy about the result. No 3D models were used in this recreation; every detail in those toilets was recreated meticulously using 3D floors.
