Lagless HDMI to VGA with intermediary SLG, on the NEC Accusync 900, with Taito branded, Hori VLX premium arcade panel.

The arcade great by Taito, G-Darius, rendered in HD on the PS4, manually formatted back to its original 4:3 aspect ratio by me, with added lines of the scan.

Looks absolutely stunning in my opinion, the best I’ve ever seen this game look after I worked my CRT alchemy on it, taking the high res remake, and making it old school, 4:3 with scanlines, best of every world possible here folks.

I was in the arcade room Thursday evening having some fun (Also played some PC-Engine on the Sony PVM 1954Q later that night) and playing some arcade archives titles on the PS4 setup, and decided to purchase G-Darius HD and well, do what I do, working a little bit of magic, with my retro inspired, PS4 arcade setup.

PS4 is literally one of my favorite consoles ever, and I own a grand total of 3 triple A, modern era games. I absolutely adore this system for all the old school arcade ports, and remakes, and having fun casting analog to digital spells, making them come alive to emulate to look of a 15 kHz PVM.

31 kHz VGA CRT are the best monitors ever made, they can do anything, even fly, haha 🤣

You just have to know how to pilot them to bring out their best, one if my true passions in life is the sweet science of this process.

Hope you enjoy it and have a great day!!!
