You need water proof or a horseshoe after, but this lets you skip the cutscene and gain control of Sly when you normally can't in this level. It was already known you had a brief moment of control before the cutscene starts (that would let you load and skip it), but if you dive during that brief moment you'll dodge the cutscene from even beginning. You can't start the cutscene after you do this, the trigger disappears. It also seems that the cutscene is the trigger for the loading zone at the end so unfortunately this isn't useful as far as I know. :(

Surprisingly you can stand on most of the terrain, and it even lets you use thief moves to climb them. Destroying all the barricades isn't what spawns the loading zone either (I didn't show it in video but I checked right after).
