visual:
gain ground (sega mega drive & genesis classics (pc/steam version))
I didn't plan to do an archer clear, just that using a rocket launcher or an rpg on a caveman seemed abit much...
I do showcase all the job classes at the end of the video.
The pause at the start of the stage is mainly to assess the battlefield;
do you need a character that can hit elevated targets?
do the "number of enemies" match what you see visually? if no, then prepare for ambush
when fighting teleporting enemies, can confirm K.O status by "number of enemies" (it will go down by one if you defeat it)
you do get i-frames when you spawn, this info is particular useful for final stage (avoid the first incoming homing missile)
Most stages may be completed on your first try...if you take the time (pause).
I think normal difficulty might be more challenging then hard;
on normal you have to rescue/unlock job classes
on hard all job classes are unlocked
This game does have a level select code if save states aren't your thing (this collection has it as a feature).
Go into options;
Press A, C, B,C
stage select will appear if done correctly.
