Gallian Crossfire - Infiltration of Fouzen (A Rank Full Clear)
In which we realize the importance of staying hidden at the end of the player phase to avoid being blown up and/or sniped.
The first two turns are the most difficult. Most of, if not all, the snipers should be cleared by Turn 1 so that Musaad isn't pelted down by the Imperial Snipers at the far end of the stage. And the Lancers (at least the standing one) should be defeated by the end of Turn 2 so that he doesn't run forward and destroy the Edelweiss with two shots. Besides that, just avoid the anti-tank land mines and it's smooth sailing for the most part.
By the way, the Artillery Support order is horribly broken in this mod because of just how safe it is. A 200 HP deduction to all infantry units (200 HP from treads of tanks if applicable) is absolutely devastating for maps with Snipers and maps where most/all enemies are out on the field from the very beginning and Welkin is on the field in the Edelweiss. In stages where more than two or (especially) more than three turns is allotted for an A rank, it's trivial to simply spam Artillery Support two or three turns in a row to remove all enemy infantry (except maybe an Ace) and use your remaining CP to clean up the tank units (and/or Ace) and complete the objective. It's so cheap there's no strategy involved. I will try to stop myself from using this Order.
...But I will say, it makes for some nice catharsis after so many missions are so unbelievably brutal to full clear.
