Without any doubt, Astro Boy is one of my favorire characters and one the most important anime characters of all time (and was the first animation displayed in Japan in 1963), and influenced many heroes who came after, like Megaman. The plot, either in the game or anime, is also explored from one of the fundamental laws of robotics that robots should not attack humans, Astro Boy was built by Dr. Tenma who tried in every way to overcome the absence of its son, Toby, who died in a car accident, Dr. Tenma built Astro like Toby and treated him with so much affection as Toby was true, but soon realized that the little android could not fill the void of the loss of his son, mainly because Astro could not grow or express human aesthetics and Astro went through several owners before being adopted by Professor Ochanomizu, who became his teacher and friend. Astro then begins to fight crime, evil and injustice. Most of your enemies are robots that hate humans, robots, angry aliens or invaders.

Astro Boy: Omega Factor is a great beat 'em up video game developed by Treasure Co. Ltd and Hitmaker, and published by Sega. The game is based on Osamu Tezuka's manga and anime franchise Astro Boy. However, it also features characters and plotlines from the artist's entire canon of work. Omega Factor features elements from Astro Boy's different incarnations. The concept of robot rights, Dr. Tenma's ultimate plan for Astro and the robot city of Robotonia in Antarctica are lifted from the Astro Boy 2003 TV series. Plotlines from other Tezuka series include a time travel plot lifted from Marine Express, a journey to the lost continent of Mu, and a subplot involving Duke Red's daughter and her role in the "Death Mask" orbital platform.

The game is divided in two episodes - "Birth" and "Rebirth". Birth is a first playthrough. In Rebirth, Astro is revived by a being called Phoenix, and has Astro go back to the beginning of the story and try to stop the Death Mask, giving him the ability to go back and forward in time to do so (In this mode it is possible to return to the stages already completed and it is also necessary to talk to the characters several times to get them on your wall, characters like Blue Knight, Black Jack, Atlas, The Amazing Three and many others created by Ozamu Tezuka is needed to unlock last stage and true ending). The longplay was done in hard mode and includes all stages in Birth and Rebirth modes, all endings and all characters (all you need to find in order to earn points to distribute in character). Great game! -
