Game Boy Advance SP Limited Edition NES Variant with IPS LCD Mod (OSD Variant) Showcase!
I had modded a Game Boy Advance SP console that is a limited edition NES variant with an IPS LCD mod with a built-in OSD menu functionality where you can adjust the brightness, color filters, & pixel effects on there by holding the brightness button down for a few seconds & you can change the brightness by pressing the brightness button quickly just like you would turn the light on or off for the AGS-001 frontlit model or make the screen dim or bright for the AGS-101 backlit model. Other mods aside from the IPS LCD mod include an aftermarket NES shell where I made the SP NES limited edition look new again due to the OEM having scratches & wear as it was used along with replaced the existing chartreuse/yellow-green power status LED with a blue one! Lastly, I also replaced the battery on there with an original DS battery where it is 850mAh compared to the stock SP 600mAh battery.
For this video, I showed you the features of the OSD menu along with a gameplay of world 1-1 in Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros. since the game matches with this beautiful limited edition NES variant of the SP with a beautiful IPS LCD having the OSD menu built-in! The best part about this IPS LCD OSD mod is that it is completely drop in where you don’t need to trim the shell to do this mod & it is a perfect solution where you want to omit cutting up the shell of a limited edition SP variant!
