This advanced video tutorial shows you how to make a simple charge shot by using a counter variable (a buffer so to say) which by reaching through constant pressing the attack key can make the regular shot into a charged one. The charge is basically an object which is always sticking to the tip of the gun of the player and toggles between an alpha of 1 to make it visible and when not holding the attack button then it gets an alpha of 0 to indicate to the player that there is no charging happening.
