74This basic video tutorial shows you what user events are in gamemaker studio. All object in gamemaker have events like the create, step or draw event. But there are also specific events which can be additionally used for convenience. These are the user events. These are similar in structure like the alarm event, you simply can trigger them without a timer running down. Another very important event is event inherited. This one allows the child object to override a inherited event from his parent and keep the code passed down.
