This advanced video tutorial shows you how to make a npc follow system in gamemaker studio. You may have seen it in other old school rpgs like for example Earthbound. The idea behind this is quite simple, there are two kind of objects. One which is the player who is recording his last steps and the a follow up npc that goes delayed in those saved recordings. The question is here only at which point the npc is to repeat the sequence stored in an array.
