Game Review - Final Fantasy (NES)
The Final Fantasy series was the first game series i ever loved. When I first played Final Fantasy 4, I was hooked by it's great turn based, be quick or be dead style game play and it's great cast of characters. Soon i would play classics such as Final Fantasy 7, 9, and so forth. Not to mention I would fall in love with it's history and in general the genre of JRPGs itself. Sure we have had our ups and downs, but in general it's 1 of the longest running and biggest game franchises of all time. So for the next few months we are going to look at the entire franchise in North America including the spin off games.
Now the way we are going to go about it is that we are going to do in order of system. Going from the NES to SNES to PS1 and so on with the handheld games being covered last. Also I will only be do brief thoughts on the reprints to other systems. The reprints most of the time are the same as the original or just a port of the remake and have almost no changes. Also I won't be doing Final Fantasy 11 or 14 a Realm Reborn either. This is because they would take tons of hours before I would feel like I would have a review done that I would be happy with. Not to mention they are 10 dollars a month to play them. Yea, I'm a cheap bastard. Without further stalling lets take a look at the Final Fantasy franchise starting with Final Fantasy 1 on the NES.
