Haven't uploaded for a while now have I? Hopefully that'll change after next week and we'll get back on that one vid per week-phase.
Anyway, for some reason I felt like doing something different for this one. It has nothing but good old NES-themes on it. Say what you will, but the old 8-bit and 16-bit themes were the prime of video game music, when done correctly. I'm probably doing another one for NES and at least one for 16-bit music. These are all my picks, so sorry for not adding any of your requests this time.

1. Dungeon 1 - StarTropics
This game was one of the most memorable in my youth. It was hard as hell, but it was so good! The music was pretty easy-going and relaxing, yet not boring at all. Especially this theme of the first dungeon has been stuck in my brain for ages.

2. Tetris
I think I have to say nothing. One of the first three games I ever played.

3. Stage 1 - Beetlejuice
Horrible game, but the music is still pretty good. Actually, the soundtrack is the ONLY good thing in this piece of crap.

4. 1st Match - Nintendo World Cup
This was the third game on the cartridge with Mario and Tetris. By far it's the only sports game I've ever enjoyed playing. Very fun, very crazy soccer-game. I highly recommend it for everyone. And this music...well, it pretty much is as legendary to me as Super Mario Bros theme. I even like it more.

5. Mission 1 - Double Dragon
One of the games I used to play with my big bro. Fun times, great music. For some reason though I have very little memories of this first one. We played Double Dragon 2 and 3 much more.

6. Overworld 2 - Super Mario Bros 3
Again, no need for words.

7. Main theme - Bubble Bobble
Aww, I love this game. :D Used to rent it pretty regularly and play it, yet again with my brother. Later it was replaced by Little Nemo the Dream Master. Still, epic memories remain.

8. Wicked Child - Castlevania
I used to own this and love it to death. It was harder than many of the older NES games combined, but I took the beating and completed it. It was one of my first games that I actually managed to beat. It's funny how much one can take as a kid. They don't make them as difficult as they used to.
This was the theme of stage 3, and was my favorite along with stage 5.

9. Alert - Metal Gear
Once this theme starts, you know you're screwed. Especially if the guards start following you. This theme has the words "game over" written all over it.
A ruthless game that I never managed to beat.

10. Space Shuttle - Shatterhand
Yet again I think it's best to just let the music do the talking. The soundtrack of this game is capable to compete with the classics like Megaman.

Speaking of Megaman, I guess my next vid would have to be the Robot Master level themes of Megaman 10. Looking forward to that. See ya all then.
