Gameboy Micro - No Power - Can we attempt to fix it?

24Sad times ahead on this, it would appear that the previous owner has already had it apart and RUINED the Start/Select ribbon cable, rendering this one of the worst things that can happen to a GBM, here's my attempt at getting it going, and then failing to sort it fully, should probably come back to this at a later date, but for now I will be happy to have this off my work bench.
