Nintendos Gameboy didn’t have a single beat ‘em up in its entire life span that could match the original Streets of Rage on Sega Game Gear, let alone it’s sequel. It wasn’t until the gba came out in 2001 that it had a game in this genre that could rival or surpass it. And that must’ve sucked for the Nintendo fanboys back in the day!
