Gamecube Picoboot and region Switch in a nutshell
20Picoboot allows booting into the SWISS frontend.
SWISS allows for Region free disk reading and booting of backups as well as the use of the GameBoy Player without a boot disk via the GameBoy Interface software package.
The Region Switch allows for reading of NTSC-U and NTSC-J disks (Via toggle) if an SD card with SWISS isn't available.
