As this game was bashed on the internet way before its launch, because of the animated graphics and effects, my first hour of gameplay was pretty much fun. But it goes away real quick. Animation effects can indeed be turned off, for a more "realistic" experience, but it takes away the "fun" sensation that anime style gives.

My first hour of gameplay was a mixed experience which lead to my conclussion that this game is an upgraded version of NFS Heat, but with fun graphics and Day One gameplay glitches and crashes. But overall, playable on free weekends. So... enjoy!

NFS Unbound is the twenty-fifth instalment in the Need for Speed series, the first for Criterion since 2013's Rivals with Ghost Games and the first as the main developer since 2012's Most Wanted.

Starting on November 29, 2022, those with an EA Play subscription can play up to 10 hours of the standard release, and those with an EA Play Pro subscription can play the Palace Edition. With either subscription. players will gain access to in-game member-only rewards and receive a 10% discount on purchases of EA digital content.
