Gameplay Snippet of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on Linux via Lutris/Proton
A few minutes of me playing Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on Linux with Lutris/Proton @ 1440p60.
Hardware:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700X
GPU: AMD Radeon VII (16GB) + Alphacool Eiswolf 240 GPX
RAM: 32 GB
Mouse: Logitech G703 + Powerplay Mousepad
Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum
Gamepad: Microsoft Xbox One Controller
Display: Samsung C32HG70QQU
Audio: Sennheiser Game One + Sennheiser GSX 1200 Pro
Software:
OS: Antergos
Kernel: Linux 5.3.11-fsync
Driver: RADV/ACO / Mesa 20.0.0-git
Proton: 4.20-GE-1 / DXVK: 1.4.5
Notes
* Limited the FPS to 60 via VkGHL
* Needed Proton 4.20-GE-1 in order to work: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/4.20-GE-1
* Purchased directly through Origin
* I used I prefix, where I already used these scripts: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install and https://github.com/tonix64/python-installcab . The first one should be sufficient in order to play movies in this game.
* Game wasn't able to create savegames, so I created the folder "$WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/steamuser/Saved Games/Respawn/JediFallenOrder" and put a savegame inside it (http://www.savegameworld.com/pc-star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-savegame-95/ ). Not sure if the latter is necessary, but after a restart of the game, it was able to save.
