Tanara Kuranov races as illegally as possible, coast to coast, in his dual review of 1000 Miles and Mille Bornes.

I neglected to mention, I think the decks are slightly different. Notably, I believe 1000 Miles has two of each of the three major hazards, but Mille Bornes has three of each, while both still have six of each remedy. Which might explain more Mille Bornes hands ending in a standstill.
