When a AAA company goes all out and take their time to make the most anticipated polished product that we know they can make, suddenly $100 is too much?

Yes. $100 is never acceptable for the base game of a triple A title, and if Rockstar thinks that it's a good idea, unfortunately people are going to buy it anyway, because it's Grand Theft Auto VI, and people really want to play the next installment of the GTA franchise.
