GameStop Wanted To Destroy These Boxes
GameStop and other video game stores used to be littered with promotional standees letting you know what the big releases were at the time. Giant cardboard monoliths towering over you advertising the latest Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, or Pokemon game! However, once the promotional period was over many of these beautiful standees tended to end up in the garbage. As a result, standees and boxes like the ones we're looking at today are now relatively rare!
