Con.ect this weekend with esports and much more

Con.ect 2022 takes place this Saturday, 26 November 2022, from 09:00 to 18:00 at the NMU Madibaz Indoor Sports Centre. Entry into the event via Webtickets costs R30, or you can buy a ticket at the door on the day for R50.
If you happen to be in Gqeberha or surrounding areas this weekend, then you shouldn’t miss out on the Con.ect, the annual geek and gaming convention in the area. There’s cosplay, gaming, 60 unique stalls, food trucks, and much more. There is also some gaming throughout the event at the ACGL and Gaming After Dark Gaming and Esports Arena, so don’t miss out.

Con.ect 2022 BYOC LAN and CSGO Tournament
Gqeberha’s very own Gaming After Dark will be hosting the LAN activities as well as a few other gaming attractions. There is a BYOC LAN with tickets priced at R150. This overnight LAN takes place on 25th November, and you also get entry into Con.ect the next day.
The CS:GO tournament has a ticket price of R400 per team. Check it out over on ACGL’s dedicated Con.ect page and tournament page. Note: The tickets for this tournament have been closed, but make sure to stop by and see the best of the bay battling it out to get to the top spot!
All LAN attendees stand a chance of winning their share of R50 000 worth of prizes! Whether you need a new 165HZ AOC Monitor, 980 EVO Pro Samsung NVMe, Razer Kraken V3 Headset, PC Makeover or even an inverter, this is a LAN you do not want to miss out on.

Additional Gaming After Dark attractions with Kloppers
Part of the Gaming and eSports arena is an open free to play area where all Con.ect Attendees will get to experience some gaming. Want a blast from the past? Come and try our Retro Corner. Got the best aim in PE? Come and show us at the Aim Labs booth sponsored by Kloppers and AOC! Person with the best aim will walk away with their very own 24” AOC 165Hz Gaming Monitor.

Energy Partner - Rubicon Sustainable Energy and Ecoflow
Although we do expect to be hit by loadshedding twice during the course of the weekend, we have partnered with Rubicon and Ecoflow to exhibit their range of backup energy solutions tailored for the gamers. And best of all, one lucky person will walk away with their very own Ecoflow River Pro inverter valued at over R14 000.00.

There are even more ways to compete and win at Con.ect. Check out some other activities as listed below, alongside a short description.
