State-run telecom service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will soon offer a minimum broadband speed to 2 Mbps to its consumer from 1st October onwards, at no additional charges.

Currently, BSNL offers a speed of 512 Kbps to its consumer. The increase in internet speed will apply to all subscriber, irrespective of old and new landline subscribers.
