Gaming Industry Lesson: Placeholder Dates
A lesson about the gaming industry, this one aimed at a particular publication that seems to put clickbait over delivering quality information to their user base. I mean, who wants journalistic integrity over that sweet sweet clickbait. And I'm sorry, I will call out shit like this when I see it. But I want to educate people on what a Placeholder date is (despite it being obvious), and why it's used. And why VG247 should be ashamed at what they published, because it's not about journalism and accuracy. It's about that headline....and nothing more.
The article in question (which despite being horrible, I actually list my sources!)
