« The Witcher : Enhanced Edition » a été développé et édité par « CD Projekt Red » (studio polonais) le 16 septembre 2008 (2007 pour la 1ère édition), sur Windows et Mac OS. Il tourne parfaitement sur GNU/Linux avec la dernière version de « Proton » incluse dans le « Steam Play ».
