I designed this mouse concept 9 years ago to be the best FPS gaming mouse.
I couldn't make it public for years, as it was being reviewed by the patent office.

It's two new main functions was that it tilted so the player could lean left and right without using the keyboard keys.

The sniper thumb button is to lower the DPS when sniping, without having to mess around with the DPS buttons on top of the mouse as most the gaming mice had at the time.

The 3rd function of the movement disc was just a minor addition, that would probably move position to the front of the LMB.
It could be used the move the screen around, but would mostly be configured as 4 extra buttons.

I sent this demo video to all the main manufactures, but none had the foresight to see its potential.
I also wanted to see if they could be trusted and not rip me off, as I had plans to design a new range of control systems.
Firstly a joystick way beyond what anyone else had created, and also a control device to take over from the mouse.

This never happened, but as you have seen the companies that I sent this to, have started to use my ideas. i.e. the thumb sniping button.

At the time, I hadn't really thought about using this mouse for space sim's, as the main market was for FPS, but now with Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous the tilting action can be used to roll the ship, and free up your A and D fingers from the keyboard.

I know the mouse is already OP in SC because of the gimballed weapon controls, and this mouse would make it even more OP.
But I can design a joystick/Hotas system that would also let you control the gimballed weapon, and even make it so the joystick/Hots controls were better than the mouse!

I know CIG are in talks with manufactures to do a Star Citizen Joystick/Hotas, but they are just going to alter a current models a little, and stick a Star Citizen logo on it.
I'm talking about a brand new design, that can have the accuracy of a mouse ON a Joystick/Hotas ;)
