I saw some reports of people not seeing the game available for install on Heroic Launcher. This is a common problem - https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/z497sr/egs_star_wars_squadrons_not_showing_up_in_heroic/
Once you get it running via Epic Games and EA App, it runs perfectly, no tweaking needed. It seems fully supported and even my Xbox 360 controller worked. Flying games is not really my thing but since its Star Wars I made an exception and quite enjoyed it. May the Force be with you.
