Linux Tech Tips EP#11: Gamescope tutorial for Steam, Lutris and Heroic | 3700X 6600XT
A quick tutorial on how to use Gamescope with some popular game launchers in Linux. Gamescope is a really handy tool that lets you up-scale and play any game or graphical application full screen or in a larger window while telling the game that it is running on a monitor with a lower resolution.
==Launch Commands used==
Heroic - In terminal type gamescope -w 1477 -h 831 heroic or edit .bashrc with:
alias heroicgame='gamescope -w 1477 -h 831 /opt/Heroic/heroic %U'
then open terminal and just type heroicgame
Steam - gamescope -w 1477 -h 831 -W 1920 -H 1080 -U -f %command%
