Motocross Madness 2 is the only reason I ever tried Motocross Madness 1. Why? It's because I was appalled by the performance of MCM2, but I still wanted to get my virtual motocross fix. All of the driver updates Intel has released (not very many) have done nothing to improve this game's fluidity or eye candy. MCM2 is plagued by that accursed polygon morphing and gets barely playable framerates, and even those are on 30% detail. Go up even one notch and you'll get lag galore. This game would be heaps of fun on my netbook if it worked well, but alas, it doesn't. On a different note, MCM2 doesn't support custom resolutions (which I normally use to produce a perfect 480p video), so I opted to record at 640x400 instead.

FPS @ 1024x600: 15-36
FPS @ 640x400 w/ FRAPS recording: 13-21

My specs:
Intel Atom N2600 @ 1.6 GHz (dual HyperThreaded cores)
2 GB DDR3/1600 CL9 RAM underclocked by CPU to DDR3/800 CL5
Intel GMA 3600 @ 400 MHz (based on PowerVR SGX545)
250 GB 5400 RPM HDD
Windows 7 Starter 32-bit
