Note: This isnt a complete fix, it makes the models face/hands un-poseable, and zoey's eyes dont return to normal unless using r_lod 2 but makes her shoe missing again. but yeah..if you just want it for posing and not worrying about hand or facial editing then this will be fine (unless of course its zoey, may have to keep her shoe out of the picture)

Update: Turns out the L4D 1 and 2 characters use a different source engine or something like that so they are not MEANT to work with the latest gmod (why they have L4D characters in the first place beats me if they didn't include L4D 2) but yeah...

This is for the latest (as of 7/01/2013) Gmod (13 I think?) I had a little problem with the L4D characters when they updated the beta version into the normal gmod, it doesnt have L4D 2 characters in it like the other one offered but DOES have L4D 1 characters in it.

But I had this little graphics error I tried a fair few things..nothing worked, sent an email to the gmod support team was waiting for a reply when I had a look into the forum of garrys mod and found someone else was having trouble. So I posted and luckly shortly after someone posted on it telling me to try this and it should fix it..bam it did!

So after trying it I found Francis and Zoey were still having problems so after a guess of changing a 2 to another number I found that yes it did work and fixed all 4 characters in the one hit (I think r_lod 3 works the best but its upto you, I think it goes from 1-4 i think I even saw in a command it can go to -1 so I dont understand any code or anything so its just guess work for me).

So yes thanks for watching and a massive thanks (forgot to mention that in the video) to the steam user: Awkward Jellyfish aka appears his name is Jake. I can only assume in time this will be fixed and wont needed to be used.

And I needed my puffer at the time so sorry for the coughing and heavy breathing and the big breathes of air haha. So back to posing L4D characters and playing Gmod :D

If it still doesn't work try verify the game cache to see if that can be any help to your problem in the first place.

Edit: I for once was looking through the workshop as I saw Lee from The walking dead video game and so I found a add on that allows you to have both L4D 1 and 2 characters with no graphic glitches (dont think it comes with the undead though as of yet) so if you cant be bothered doing this, id suggest that.

But beware some characters crash it (or will) and conflict with each other sometimes.

Update: 12/7/13 - It appears to not crash the game anymore if you look in the steam work shop and search Left 4 Dead, and it should pop uo with Working Left 4 Dead Ragdolls. It use to crash but for a while now it seems to be working fine!
