THE ADDON DESCRIPTION

you are in an abandoned mine outside of City 17. A Scanner has discovered you, and the Combine are closing in on your position. Fight your way through a vast underground mine to try and meet up with the Resistance members of Station 12.

Year Long Alarm was a medium length single player mod originally designed for Source SDK Singleplayer 2013 by Chuck Wilson[www.aspaceman.com]. It was first released on April 27, 2012 on RTSL website. It was later released on Steam. The player must find his way to a rebel outpost, while dealing with dangerous enemies and puzzles.

This mod was ported to Garry’s Mod by myself. Missing particles are fixed. Lua-coded automatic level transition, loadout system, checkpoint system and a simple anti-cheat protection (can be easily disabled by server admin, check out the spoiler below if needed) are added for a better multiplayer experience. Please note that this mod should only be played in the Sandbox. You can play this map in singleplayer or with a few friends.

Features:
1. Level transition for multiplayer and singleplayer.
2. Weapon loadout based on player's progress.
3. Checkpoints.
4. Simple anti-cheat.

For server admins, to disable anti-cheat (enable spawn menu), type “yla_nospawnmenu 1” in the console, but remember to enable “sv_cheat” first

Known Bug:
The game can freeze for a few seconds in the second map yla_bridge after player throwing a grenade into the window of the wooden house next to the bridge which causes a chain reaction. It WON'T result in crash, just be patient and wait for a few seconds.
