Gashadokuro | Giant Skeleton Yokai
Animated skeletons have been featured in many dark myths and horror stories, but Japanese mythology has skeletons that are taller than a tree...gashadokuro! Born from a mass grave of victims denied funerary rites, gashadokuro roam about the countryside after dark, consuming any human that they come across. However, they never eat humans for the sake of food, but out of supernatural, unbridled hatred of humankind! They have no weakness, there is no fighting them, if it sees you, your final page is writ!
