Gaspare Empire is an upcoming 2D platformer adventure game, developed and directed by me, with idea discussions and lots of graphics from BRIE. Together we're making Gaspare Empire, where you play as the elegant, overly confident "mob" boss Gaspare who has an empire of special Golden Cigars, and has recently been thrown into a deep, mysterious prison. When words arrive that someone on the outside tries to steal his market, he has to do whatever he can to escape, and on his journey, he encounters interesting characters, tough challenges and dark secrets...

The game takes inspiration from the Wario Land series, as well as film noir from the 30s and 40s in its style, along with a more cartoony approach with elements of humor and strange absurdity. The core of Gaspare Empire is precision and choice, where your choices and performances truly do matter. Collect your own golden cigars (that have grown popular in the prison) and use them to bargin your way via the prisoners trapped with you, as well as using the cigars for other interesting purposes.

But be aware - you only get so many chances to collect them... How will you spend them? How many can you collect? How big of a risk are you willing to take? And can you master Gaspare's huge moveset?
