Independently developed and published by Team Junkfish, Monstrum is an atmospheric first person survival horror game that takes place on board a procedurally generated cargo ship. Players must search for items necessary to repair one of three possible escape routes while constantly being pursued by a randomly chosen monster that can't be stopped - only avoided, distracted, or hidden from.
You awaken to find yourself barricaded in a small, dark room on an abandoned cargo ship in the middle of the ocean. Whatever happened to the others must have something to do with the strange sounds you keep hearing: Is it heavy footsteps booming on the floor above? Or the slimy sound of something clawing its way through the vents? Maybe it's that painful humming that feels like it's coming from inside your own skull..
